INTRODUCTION :
Gallantry Awards are handed over to show respect to the Acts of bravery and sacrifice of officers, civilians, armed forces. To ensure that we must understand the sacrifices and the bravery of awardees the Government of India host various session with its organisation.
MEANING OF GALLANTRY AWARD :
Gallantry Awards have been given by the Indian government to honour the acts of bravery and sacrifices of the officers of Indian Armed Forces and civilians. Post independence, Gallantry Awards namely.The Param Vir Chakra , The Mahavir Chakra, The Vir Chakra were instituted by the Government of India on 26th January 1950.
CAPTAIN VIKRAM BATRA : ( The Gallantry Award Winner)
My favourite Gallantry Awardee is Captain Vikram Batra. He was awarded the Param Vir Chakra, India’s highest military honour on 15 August 1999 at the 52nd anniversary of India’s Independence.Captain Vikram Batra , thus displayed the most conspicuous of personal bravery and leadership of the highest order in the face of the enemy and made the supreme sacrifice in the highest tradition of the Indian Army.

I am greatly inspired by the Vikram batra because he was fearless and bold and ever ready to serve towards his Nation. His helping nature and gallantry motivates me a lot. He motivate me to join Army to serve for my country. Motivation is a very strong force. there are various sources to look for other attractive careers. But it takes guts to join the armed forces like Vikram Batra and live a life of honour.
CONCLUSION :
Those people who choose the life of a soldier prefer to live a life with an honour, bound by integrity and an unfailing sense of duty. this is their motivation to join the Armed forces. I also want to join the army forces with a desire to serve our Nation and willingly offers my life in defence of the sacred motherland.
